Tips and Guidelines

The airport administration and TSA recommend travelers to arrive at the airport terminal two hours before scheduled departure for domestic flights and three hours prior departure time for international flights.

Carrying at least one form of photo Identification Documents at all times is wise, as TSA agents can conduct safety checks on anyone anytime on airport premises. Before even arriving at the airport, travelers are advised to reconfirm scheduled flights with the airline at least 24 hours before departure. Passengers must be aware of possible special unloading and parking restrictions.

Generally, two carry-on bags are permitted on the flight. Size restrictions are different from airlines, but generally, its 9 inches by 14 inches by 22 inches. Minimizing items to essentials in carry-on bags is a good practice for the trip. It is not uncommon for carry-on bags and check-in luggage to be inspected individually by the security personnel. Laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices will need to be removed from bags for separate X-ray screening. It is wise to tag both checked and carry-on bags with personal information.

After the security screening is passed, travelers are directed towards their gates.

Luggage must never be left unattended or left to strangers to look after. Similarly, passengers must not accept any bags or items from a stranger with unknown contents.
